Blog Fog

OK, so maybe I don't have as much to say as I thought I would have...

My husband is teasing me unmercifully, "Did you write in your blog today?", "I knew it wouldn't last", "How is the blogging coming?" Yes, I have skipped a few days but I do have a life.

Participated in the second card making workshop this weekend that my friend, Beth hosted and slaved over. We had about twelve ladies but it was just right for the two of us. We were hopping all night. Everyone had a good time! Now we just have to get them to order more from Stampin Up so Beth can afford to do these workshops. She is a very gracious person and I think people think she is just doing it for them to have fun which is partly true.  BUY, people Buy!

I am alone with the little boys this evening. The other dweller of the habitat has gone to an "academy" at school and then on to car club. The car club  has been meeting once a month for quite a few years. Although my husband is the youngest of the bunch, he still enjoys it. I call it "The Buttcrack Club" - men standing around, sometimes actually working on a car, drinking coffee but mostly gossiping or telling stories. Can't ever tell me men don't like to socialize just as much as women!

It has taken me half an hour to get the fire started. I think the newspaper is damp from being in the basement but I know I have been up and down stairs at least four times blowing and throwing matches in the stove. Finally, I feel heat coming out.

We are going to get sub zero temperatures this week so the weather people say. I am hoping for  a "cold" day from school. The windchill has to be 15 degrees below I think for the school to shut down. It would be nice as I am getting behind on my "projects" in the cottage.

All for now.

  1. Hey Aunt Beth,
Are those cars Gregs or did you just find that pic somewhere. That is a beautiful old car. Similar to the one you drove in for our wedding? I'm not the best at dates and types of old cars yet like my Dad. He can see a car in a split second and know the model make and year. CRAZY!!
